The third race was the Amateur Modified 96 class.

When the first heat was over Rick Jocham was in first place, Milt Surratt was in second place and Mathew Wakamatsu was in third place.

The second, third, fourth and fifth heat it was more of the same with Rick Jocham building his lead in first place, Milt Surratt in second place and Mathew Wakamatsu in third place.

When the sixth heat was finished we saw Mark Shafer in sixth place, Aaron Wakamatsu on fifth place, Jim Williams in fourth place, Mathew Wakamatsu in third place, Milt Surratt in second place and Rick Jocham taking his third straight victory.
