The first race was the B Semi. Lining up for the start was Mike Risinger, Dennis Tate, Mark Shafer, Mathew Wakamatsu, John Wakamatsu and Jim Williams. When the first heat was over it was Jim Williams in first place, Mathew Wakamatsu in second place and John Wakamatsu in third place. After the second heat we saw Jim Williams still in first place, Mathew still in second place and John holding his own in third place. In the third heat Jim was still out in first place, John took over second place and Mathew slid into third. When the fourth heat was over John had taken the first position, Mathew was in second place and Jim was still in third place. After the fifth heat it was Mathew in first place, John in second place and Jim in third place. When the sixth heat was over we had Mark Shafer in sixth place, Jim Williams in fifth place, Mike Risinger in fourth place, Dennis Tate in third place, John Wakamatsu in second place and taking the victory was Mathew Wakamatsu.

In the A semi we saw Gary Cleverley, Team Bronco Barney Poyner, Brian Lowe, Rick Jocham, Gary Morgan and Milt Surratt line up for the start. After the first heat we saw Milt Surratt take the lead, Rick Jocham in second place and Brian Lowe in third place. In the second third, fourth, and fifth heats it was more of the same with only Rick and Brian swapping second and third places back and forth. When the checkered flag fell we had Team Bronco Barney Poyner in sixth place, Gary Cleverley in fifth place, Gary Morgan in fourth place, Brian Lowe in third place, Rick Jocham in second place and Milt Surratt taking a real close win.

The six drivers to make the Main Event was Rick Jocham, Brian Lowe, Gary Morgan, Milt Surratt, Mathew Wakamatsu and John Wakamatsu.

When the green flag fell for the feature race of the day we saw Milt Surratt take the early lead, Rick Jocham in second place, Brian Lowe in third place, Gary Morgan in fourth place, Mathew Wakamatsu in fifth place and John Wakamatsu in sixth place.

After the second heat we had Milt still in first place, Brian in second place, Mathew in third place, Gary Morgan in fourth place, Rick Jocham in fifth place and John in sixth place.

After the third heat Milt was still in first place, Rick was in second place, Mathew was in third place, Brian Lowe was in fourth place, Gary was in fifth place and John was in sixth place.

When heat number four was over Milt was still in first place, Rick was in second place, Mathew was in third place, John was in fourth place, Brian was in fifth place and Gary was in sixth place.

After the fifth heat Rick had taken over first place, Milt dropped to second place, Mathew was in third place, Brian was in fourth place, John was in fifth place and Gary was in sixth place.
