The first race was the Life~Like, Tyco Super Stock race. At the end of the first heat we witnessed the beginning of a lopsided victory with Rick Jocham in the first position, Milt Surratt five laps behind in second place, and Mathew Wakamatsu in third place.

When the second heat was over Rick Jocham was still in first place, Milt Surratt was in second place and taking over the third position was Jim Williams.

The third, fourth and fifth heats were more of the same with Rick Jocham building his lead Milt Surratt in second place and Jim Williams and Mathew Wakamatsu swapping third place back and forth.

When the checkered flag was waving we saw Team Bronco Barney Poyner in sixth Place, Aaron Wakamatsu in fifth place, Mathew Wakamatsu in fourth place, Jim Williams in third place, Milt Surratt in second place and Rick Jocham winning by a whopping 40 laps.
