According to published reports, Southern California's Premier Slot Car Organization set the standard for organized H.O. racing over the 6 month period covering the Spring 2001 Championship Points Series. No fewer than 30 different racers participated in The Fastest Afternoon In Slot Car Racing. That also includes a Speed Merchants one day event record 61 entries at Spring Series Race #4 featuring the Apex Invitational Cup. And all this without anyone even getting their fingernails dirty.
