GENERAL RULES

1) All race cars must be suitably prepared for competitive racing conditions.

2) Any individual part of a car may be replaced during a race except chassis and body.

3) Maximum Dimensions:

Length - 3.000 in.
Width - 1.3125 in.
Wheelbase - 1.375 in.
Lateral Axle Movement - .03125 in.

4) One guide pin in the stock location may be used.

5) The body should be a replica of an actual 1:1 car:

• Where allowed, vacuum formed bodies must have clear windows and clear front wheel wells (unless cut out),
• Except for openings, body must cover the chassis when viewed from above.

6) Unbalanced armatures of the narrow gap late model Mabuchi design with a minimum of 5.8 ohms from pole to pole at room temperature may be used.

7) All component parts must be commercially available with equal access to all.

PRODUCTION CLASS SPECIFICATIONS

1) Any commercially available H.O. scale slot car utilizing ceramic magnets may be used. Magnets must be stock or stock replacement.

2) Body must be of the injection molded variety and be complete at the start of the race, including driver and wing where applicable. Body thickness must be maintained.

3) Armature and electrical system must be stock or stock replacement.

4) Front wheels and tires must be stock or stock replacement. Double flanged rims and slip-on tires may be used.

SUPER STOCK CLASS SPECIFICATIONS

In addition to the above:

1) Independent front axle assemblies may be used with any tire.

2) Vacuum formed bodies may be used with body mounts added.

3) Pickup tabs may be reinforced and rear axles may be pinned.

4) Non ferrous motor magnet shims may be added.

5) Motor bushings may be used if not already stock.

6) Any motor brushes, motor springs, brush barrels, and pickup springs may be used.

7) Any rear wheels and tires may be used.

MODIFIED/RESTRICTED OPEN CLASS SPECIFICATIONS

In addition to the above:

1) Any armature may be used.

2) Rare Earth molded polymer magnets may be used in the stock location.

3) Ball bearings, shunts, and chassis clips may be used.

NEO CLASS SPECIFICATIONS

In addition to the above:

1) Any Rare Earth replacement magnets may be used in the stock location.

2) Fabricated chassis reinforcements and guide pin holders may be added.

UNLIMITED CLASS SPECIFICATIONS

In addition to the above:

1) Only General Rules 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 apply.
