Car Starter Kits Our basic starter kit costs $99 plus tax. Our starter kits come with a roomy tool box with lots of compartments for parts and other stuff! It also includes a bag of goodies such as spare parts, a pair of tires, braid juice, oil and a tire/motor wrench. The kit also comes with a Parma Turbo Controller, the best controller to start with in slot car racing. Finally, you have the choice of any Ready To Run 4” stock car priced between $39-$41. |

To Run Slot Cars These cars are factory assembled and with minimal adjustments can go right on the track and run fast immediately! Most of our customers purchase an RTR by Champion or Parma. These cars cost between $26.00 - $41.00. RTRs usually come with an entry level motor called the “16D” Mabuchi motor. These motors are plenty fast yet are inexpensive to replace should they wear out or burn out. Burning out a motor usually is caused by a crash which misadjusts the gear mesh thereby causing too much friction. Checking the car carefully after a big crash is wise, and the staff at Fastrax is always available to help you check your new car. We also make a few minor adjustments to your new RTR to keep it running a long time. |
