Meet The Fastrax Raceway Staff
| Fastrax
Raceway was founded in 1992 in Rodeo and is now located in Princeton Plaza, El Sobrante. We are a hobby shop specializing in slotcar racing in 1/24, 1/32 and HO scales. Our raceway has two road tracks, a scale 1/4 mile drag strip and a commercial grade HO track.
Besides birthday parties, we rent slot cars and are one of the nation's largest suppliers of slot cars and related parts. Many slot car hobbyists get involved in our organized racing events that take place weekly. Occasionally, Fastrax hosts slot car racing events such as the USRA Scale National Championship which was held at Fastrax in March 1997. Our aim is to make slot car racing both an entertainment outlet and a hobby outlet. We hope you enjoy your stay at Fastrax! |

| George Russell has been the owner of
Fastrax since June 1995. George was the Montgomery Ward Bay Area Junior Slotcar Champion in 1965, and returned to slotcar racing in 1993. Formerly a professional trombonist and a healthcare executive,
George now operates
Fastrax as a full time business. Spencer Allen, former owner of Hot Slots in Pleasant Hill runs our weekly race programs. |
