Traveling from the South - A1 North - Approaching Newcastle take the A1 ring road (bearing off left after Washington Services). Continue through Team Valley (trading estate on right). Within a mile or so you will pass METRO CENTER on your right. Take the 2nd turning after Metro center (Signposted Blaydon A695), turn under the A1 and pass a petrol station and Travel Lodge. Go Straight over (2nd exit) next roundabout and get into outside lane. Follow signs for Blaydon. As you drive past Scotswood Bridge (on your right you will find Riverside approx 50-100 yards down the road.

Traveling from the North - A1 South - Take the 1st turning after A69 (signposted Blaydon). Take Blaydon exit at roundabout and go to the Scotswood Bridge. Go over bridge staying in the outside lane and take signs for Blaydon A695. The road will turn through approx 270 degrees left. Filter on to A695 Blaydon and see Riverside approx 50-100 yards on your right.

At this point you can either drive past Riverside and down to the next roundabout and then return to the Raceway on the other side of the road OR almost immediately after you pass Scotswood Bridge, look for a sign on your left CHAINBRIDGE TRADING ESTATE - FACTORY SHOPS. Take this turning left and follow the road around and over the small flyover, see Riverside to your left as you cross the flyover, turn left at the bottom of the road and left again. Park in our car park in front of our premises. We are located on the First Floor above Regency reproductions (a furniture showroom).

During Events light refreshments - Tea, Coffee, soft drinks, toasted sandwiches, lasagne, chocolate, crisps etc are availble at all times.
There are local McDonnalds, Harry Ramsdens (fish), TGI Fridays, Mexican, Italian and “Pub” meals all within a 6 minute drive.
Night Life? - Assuming you still have the time or the stamina! Possibly more than anyone can handle at one sitting! Newcastle-upon-Tyne has a reputation as the “Club / Nightlife” capital of the UK, possibly with the exception of London. Check it out if you are brave enough!
